Terms of Service

These terms cover work done by Smooth AI Consultancy ("we", "us"). Each engagement is confirmed in plain-English writing (usually email) before we start: what we will do, the fixed fee, and the timeline. If that confirmation ever conflicts with this page, the confirmation wins.

1. The Map and fixed fees

The initial Map call is free and carries no obligation. After it, we quote a fixed fee scoped to the workflow, not hours. You know the price before you commit.

2. What you get

Working software or automation on your real data, a short runbook your team will actually use, and walkthroughs until it feels boring. Anything outside the agreed scope gets quoted separately before we do it.

3. Payment

As agreed in the confirmation, typically part upfront and part on go-live. Late payments may pause the work until settled.

4. Intellectual property

Once paid in full, what we build for you is yours: code, configurations, docs, and the runbook. We may reuse general know-how and patterns, never your data, branding, or anything identifying your business.

5. Confidentiality

Your workflows stay yours. We work under NDA whenever you want one, keep access to the minimum needed, and never show your business to anyone else.

6. Honest limits

We describe payback honestly and will tell you not to hire us if the numbers do not stack. We do not promise specific revenue, savings, or efficiency figures; outcomes depend on your data, team adoption, and things outside our control.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Ending the work

Either side can end an engagement with written notice. You pay for work completed to that point, and we hand over everything usable so far.
